Luca Socks DK

A really simple cuff down pair of socks, designed with heel flap and gusset. There’s also an super easy textured pattern that keeps the sock interesting and so cozy. I used Borgo de’ Pazzi Amore 240 yarn for this sample but my testers used Drops Lima for a much cozier look because it is the perfect pattern for DK yarn weight.

The socks are worked from the cuff to the toe using magic loop.

SizesS (44 sts), M (48 sts), L (52 sts). To fit a foot circumference of 20.5 (21.5, 23) cm, 8” (8.50”, 9.1”).

MaterialsBorgo de’ Pazzi Amore 240 (50 g/1.7 oz, 240 m/262 yds, 70% recycled merino wool, 25% polyamide, 2% viscose, 1% polyester): approx. 50 gr/ 240 mt of sport yarn. If you will use Drops Lima that is a DK yarn you have to double the amount of the yarn so you’ll need 100 gr/ 200 mt. Needles: 3.5 mm US 4 80 cm 32” or longer circular needle. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge23 sts and 30 rnds = 10 cm 4” in Stitch pattern in the round.
