Lovely yarn...easy to work with...great colours!
I’m actually heart broken about this yarn. I was absolutely loving it as it knits AND crochets up beautifully. However, having made several different items with this yarn including a large knitted throw for my husband as a birthday gift, I was extremely disappointed that the yarn wears so poorly and does so so quickly. This beautiful blanket that I made for my husband took me weeks to knit ( two stranded with Lion Brand Homespun as the other yarn) looked like awful…it pilled up and looked old...
It’s my favourite yarn. Knits up quickly. Love Craft is the only online site that had this colour I was looking for. Trust me, I checked other online sites with no luck. The other online sites appear to be out of stock with every colour that I was looking for.
The quality of this yarn choice was better than expected for a sweater. I order extra yarn which also was easy to return. I got my refund before they got the yarn back!
The pattern was accurate and easy to read. The picture diagram of the turn which was the most difficult part was very clear and made it much easier to do. The yarn knits up beautifully and I love the bright, bold colours. The before and after photos of a blocked mat will persuade those who normally skip this final step that blocking is well worth the effort.
The wool is lovely to work with, it makes different stitches stand out making the project much more interesting, particularly cables. It gives a rich expensive look and more importantly is soft and gentle next to the skin. I would definitely recommend this wool to anyone who loves knitting with style. I would also like to add that the wool arrived on time and was very well wrapped with showed care and attention. Thank you.
Lovely to work with,really soft and warm
I've used this wool a couple of times now. It knits extremely fast and the quality is very good as there have been no knots. Unfortunately for the items I use it, it doesn't wear very well as I knit my husband slippers, so I added sewing silk, which improved it considerably. However that bears no relation to the actual quality of the wool itself.
Yarn was as I expected and knitted up very quickly. It was for a baby and the yarn was beautifully soft
