Soft and beautiful yarn
I like the beautiful colourway, and it is really soft and easy to work with. I use it for a cardigan in black canyon tweed. The drape is excellent.

This is a yarn with reliable quality, that's easy to work with and always produces great scarves, mittens, etc. I made a pair of fingerless gloves based on a character I saw in the movie, 'The Hobbit'. The weight and color of this yarn were perfect for the project.
I'm using this yarn for the prayer shawls that I crochet. I like the ease of use and the drape it makes.
I am currently working on another project of Heartland wool and love how soft and non-itchy it is. A nice weight and lots on the bundle. Looking forward to my next project with the new colour choice I choose.
I'm delighted with this stuff. It is so soft, but it's sturdy too, and easy to work with. I ordered the first lot because I had a pattern that needed this, and I wanted it to be just right, but had to get more (and other colours) because it is great. I like the subtle shading too, so it isn't QUITE a solid colour.
I love Lion Brand's Heartland yarn. It is probably my favorite yarn to work with. The colors are gorgeous and the yarn feel is very soft, perfect for sweaters, scarves, hats, neckwarmers, and more. I've made many garments using this beautiful yarn in almost every color. What I love best is the very rare occurrence of knots in the yarn. I am able to crochet and crochet without having to stop to rejoin the yarn.
I am crocheting a C2C moss stitch blanket and this yarn is soft and easy to work with. I especially love how the colorful bits look!
This yarn is nice and soft but it has a tendency to split so it slows you down while knitting. Also it knits up better on a #7 needle to give it a springy cushy feel for warmth. Knowing this, I still would buy it. Lion Brand #4 yarn is more like a #3 yarn so that should be kept in mind when planning your work! I feel that a #8 needle gives you a looser flimsier product.
Superb yarn! Really soft and very quick to crochet up an item...love it
Couldn't find this wool anywhere in UK (Heartland sequoia) only 1 ball available in US. Love crafts didn't disappoint came up trumps 6 x 100gm balls.
