Product Description
The Les Landes beanie is a cozy cabled hat made with chunky yarn. Its contrasting style was inspired by sports jerseys in rugby and horse racing. Whether you're supporting a team or just love the colour block style, this thick beanie will help keep you warm.
This pattern has both US and UK term versions, a full photo tutorial for the cabling section and printer friendly versions for on the go!
The contrasting brim is double-thick, for an extra bit of warmth and to help the ribbing retain some stretch. Instructions for a single thick brim are also included for if you prefer a looser fit.
It has only been made and tested it in an adult size, but I include instructions for how to alter the pattern if you wanted to make it a bit bigger or smaller. You could also use the directions to make it in a different yarn weight if you prefer working with finer yarn.
You need about 1.5 100g balls of the main colour, and only ¼ of a 100g ball for the contrasting colour.
