Lace Blanket

This pattern can be used with different yarn weights so it can be made with either ;

(Aran weight/ worsted weight yarn or chunky bulky yarn)

Either yarn is crocheted with a 8mm crochet hook (L)

The thicker the yarn the larger the blanket will be.

Aran yarn squares are approximately 10 ½ - 11 inches square

Bulky yarn squares will be approximately 11 – 11 ½ inches square

Blanket will be approximately 45 inches x 32 inches but you can make it bigger if you like – instructions for this are below

Materials:

If using 4 colours – you will need 100g of 3 colours for the squares and 200g of the main colour for the border and joins(white)

Each ball should have at least 100m

(If using 2 colours- you will need 200g of each colour)

SOME SUITABLE YARNS ARE:

Red Heart Super Saver (Aran weight or medium worsted weight yarn)

Any chunky/bulky yarn.

Scissors
