I find name badges at places like yarn festivals so helpful for making connections with people I know from Ravelry and other online places. A knitted one seemed like a fun idea and was satisfying to make. Mine was reversible to also cover Spinning Guild meetings where real life names are sufficient. So many people asked how I had made mine (Was it double knitted? Was it steeked? No and no, much simpler- a tube of stranded colourwork with an i-cord border) that I decided to write up the recipe, including my chart for the letters. This is very much a recipe to play with rather than comprehensive instructions, but I hope it provides a springboard for lots more name badges, connections and new friendships.
