Kipper Coat

Named in fond remembrance of my dog Kip and the quiet evening walks we shared, the Kipper Coat is the perfect cool weather sweater that is both comfortable and stylish. The body is knit from the bottom up with small cable details, i-cord edging, a high cozy collar and a textured double breasted button placket. Work it in a sturdy dense wool yarn for a warm coat, or alternately use an airy yarn for a soft sweater.

Please note that there are two versions of the pattern included in the pdf download: Kipper Coat: The body and sleeves are worked separately from the bottom up, and then seamed together after all knitting is finished. Kipper Coat Seamless Version: The body and sleeves are worked separately from the bottom up, then joined together and worked in one piece with seamless shoulders.
