The King Cole Velveteen is soft and crochets well as fur, though it took a few goes to get into the rhythm of finding the stitches. I use it for making Mr Tumnus, and I just ordered more to finish him, as no quantities are given in the pattern.
When the parcel with King Cole Veveteen arrived I thought it would have been tricky to knit with How wrong could I have been. It was so easy to knit up and the finished article was just so soft, cuddly beautiful - a medium teddy for my new 2-week old granddaughter.
The yarn knits up beautifully A++++++++quality very soft but strong yarn. I knit a bunny for my first project with King Cole Velveteen and I highly recommend it for making stuffed animals ,only a tiny amount of stuffing is needed because of the lovely thickness of the yarn.
So soft and easy to use. Project looks lovely when finished.
