Kaley - Baby’s 8ply beanie with embroidered heart motifs

This easy knit stocking stitch beanie with garter stitch edge is knitted in two colours then heart motifs are embroidered (working form a graph) around the lower edge.

This super cute beanie matches my baby’s bib and brace heart overalls pattern which is also available here. Please see my Juliet pattern for that design.

Pattern sizes: 0 (3-6-12) months.

To fit head: 35 (40-45-48) cm [13¾ (15¾-17¾-19) inches].

Yarn required: Lincraft DK 8ply, 100g balls@266m. 1 ball Main Colour. 1 ball Contrast Colour.

Needles required: A pair of 4.00mm (UK 8, US 6) knitting needles. Wool needle for sewing up and embroidery.

Tension: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 4.00mm needles.
