Jazz mittens

These lacy mittens are worked in slip stitch crochet. They feature a wavy lace pattern at the back of the hand and stretchy ribs to make them sit snuggly. The pattern is symmetrical in the left and right mitten. Variations are given for a version without the lace pattern (just the waves) and for an added thumb. tip: If you do not want to use slip stitches, you can crochet the mittens in the no-lace version with back loop only sc.
