Review summary
Most reviewers praise the wide range of colours and how well the yarn knits, especially for fair isle and colourwork. A few find it rough or uneven in thickness, and complaints are uncommon.

I really love knitting with this yarn. The color choice is wonderful and the finished product looks great even before being blocked.
I like this almost as much as the Rowan Felted Tweed. It comes in an astonishingly large color range and is perfect for that rustic look and for colorwork. I wish it also came in larger skeins, so I could make larger projects with it.
I love this yarn. Great quality for fair isle knitting and so many lovely colors.
Fantastic yarn for fairisle. Amazing colours ad knits beautifully
This yarn is a typical shetland wool. The texture is “grippy”. It clings to the yarn next to it which makes it perfect for knitting in colour work. Although it is a two ply yarn it is equivalent to what we know as four ply yarn.
I love the yarn. Colors and quality are great for fair isle projects.
Love this yarn! Beautiful colors and quality.
Jamieson's is wonderful to work with and the number of colors is amazing when you are doing colorwork.
Trying to replace an old supply of Chadwick yarn #477 for a fly tying project. A certain fisherman in the UK used this tan/heather yarn for tying a fly that catches trout and grayling. I was looking to replicate this pattern.
Lovely yarn. Excellent quality, knits beautifully and stunning range of colours. I use it for Fair isle knitting
