I chose this yarn for a shawl pattern because I could create an ombré effect, and the glimmer of the yarn is amazing. The colours and sparkle are perfect for this gift for a very loved friend. I use this for 'eyes' on the toys I knit. The glitter gives the eye the 'twinkle' without messing.

I have bought James C. Brett Twinkle DK previously from another outlet. Lovecrafts had the dark blue Twinkle which I needed for a jumper my grandchild had asked. The yarn is soft and knits well to DK patterns. The ordering was simple and the information provided throughout the process was great. The package arrived in the time frame given.

Twinkle is so beautiful knitted up. It adds a festive feel to my project, which is for Christmas. I love it and would definitely buy again.

Lovely soft wool and the added tinsel is perfect for Christmas knitting projects, very reasonably priced and the 100grams goes a long way. Will definitely be buying this again. Lots of fabulous yarn available from Lovecrafts, perfect for all your crafting needs. 5 stars.

I was a little alarmed when I first opened the black and silver yarn because the silver thread, wound around the black, looked a little “obvious” However, when crocheted it looks beautiful. I am making a shawl for a forthcoming cruise and it is looking lovely. It also goes a long way. I will have plenty leftover to make something else.

Delivered on time and exactly the colour I had expected. It is knitting up well, with less problem with the metallic thread than I expected: occasional separation but generally well integrated. I have to hope that it won't feel scratchy - if it does, well, it was her own choice!
