Product Description
The “Intertwined Roots” Sweater is knitted in the round from the top down and constructed using raglan increases. It features a detailed repetitive cabled motif on top of the sleeves and calming stockinette for the body. The sleeves are worked straight and create a slight bell sleeve before the fitted cuff. The body has a side split at the hip with the back panel longer than the front one. All “ribbing” is created with a cable motif and bound off using the picot bind-off.
This sweater is intended to be a light-weight garment that at the same time can give a warm coziness when needed. Therefore the “Intertwined Roots” Sweater is a perfect garment for in between-seasons or indoors.
Gauge: blocked and dry: 19 sts, 29 rows =10x10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in stockinette
Yarn substitution: You could also use a Fingering weight yarn together with the silk-mohair.
