IKO is an asymmetrical shawl knitted in garter stitch - perfect for „mindless“ knitting but not boring to knit. You will see!

gauge: 20 stitches x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4“) in Garter Stitch Gauge is not crucial for this project but will affect yardage and final dimensions.

You will need: 790 yds (730 m) of Wollmeise Pure or any other yarn if working with given gauge (color A - 540 yds / 495 m /// color B - 250 yds / 235 m)

Yardage is given for the pattern as stated and with Wollmeise Pure. If you choose an other number of stitches for cast on (see table in pattern), or other yarn, your yardage will vary.

Sample: If you have a gauge with 20 stitches per 4" / 10 cm and you cast on 350 stitches, your shawl will be around 175 cm at the longest side and you will need 790 yds (730 m) of wollmeise Pure.
