Houndstooth Cardigan

A cardigan crochet pattern designed with basic crochet stitches to create a beautiful repeating houndstooth pattern. The houndstooth design is created with alternating single-crochet and double-crochet stitches using two contrasting yarns. The pattern is written based on hip circumference: (S, M, L, XL, 2XL) for hip circumference (36”, 38”, 40”, 44”, 48”) or (90cm, 95cm, 100cm, 110cm, 120cm). The pattern can be modified for different sizes or fits. It can also be created as a vest, short-sleeved or long-sleeved cardigan. Buttons, toggles, hook and eye closures, etc. can be added at the top or middle to improve or alter fit slightly.
