They are both knitted in the flat using 3.25mm needles and dk wool. The patterns are for the beginner friendly, so easy to make. The easter egg has a striped effect or you could knit it in one colour. I've used for the stripes, Style craft special dk in pastel shades. For the hot cross bun I've James C Brett super value dk, in 2 beiges and Rowan Felted tweed in ginger dk wool.
