Honeycomb Turtle

Use a honeycomb stitch to create the clever effect on this turtle’s shell. This is a super project for learning or practising some knitting stitches, and creates a super soft toy too! This knitting pattern uses acrylic DK yarns and single pointed needles (work flat, not in the round). Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, turtle’s largest measurements lying flat are 26cm wide x 24cm long. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
