Honey and Lavender Shawl (DK weight)

Honey and Lavender is a DK weight, shallow crescent-shaped shawlette that can be worn over an evening gown or as a perfect complement to your little black dress. The shawlette can also be worn as an accessory over a shirt, tee or top. The shawlette uses a flame or open flower-like lace pattern that represents a fiery spirit, a daring yet charming soul.

The shawl is worked from the bottom up in one piece beginning with the lace border, followed by a stockinette stitch body. The plain stockinette section is shaped by short rows to form a shallow crescent shape. The shawl is flanked by garter borders at both ends.
