Hello Summer Mosaic Crochet Hat

This hat almost did not happen.

I originally set out to create a different motif bucket hat. But after endless attempts at making it work seamlessly in the round without floating yarn or compromising the fit, i was ready to give up on the whole idea. Then I thought about how my daughter loves to say hi to everyone she sees and how it lights up her day and their day. That is when this pattern was born, combining my love of inset mosaic crochet with something that felt personal and joyful. The result is a bucket hat that is genuinely fun to make.
