This is mine that I did using Encore's Chunky (a washable bulky weight).  The hat is shaped first so you have a guide for ear placement, then the sts are gathered near the top -- giving a very cat-like hat.  The ears are doubled (by using dpns) and shaped into simple triangles.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe bow is knit flat (garter-edged) using a washable worsted (about 20-25 yards) that I hand-dyed with kool-aid.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe features are sewn-on using just a bit of washable worsted weight in black.
