Hearts for Me socks

This is my lovely heart socks pattern with a picot edge. I wanted an edge I could combine with rib so this one makes the picot without the need to fold the cuff.

The heart detail is in simple purl stitches, It shows up better if you use a semi solid or solid contrast in the heart band.

If you normally do contrast toes and heels on your socks then make sure that you have another 10g in your contrast to be able to complete them especially if you like a deeper ribbed cuff. So 20g minimum.

You can adjust this by using different needle sizes or adding stitches in as described in the pattern. You can make them smaller by taking stitches out but the hearts might merge together.
