Hearts and Diamonds Wrap

Wrap yourself or someone you love in hearts and diamonds. I made this pattern on Valentine's Day, with a red homespun Angora/Moreno mix.

Because of the variegation of the yarn the design got lost on smaller needles, hence the larger needles. This design could be made using smaller needles (I would suggest size 8 sharp point to get the same lacy effect) and a solid color sock weigh yarn. Since the pattern works up so large with the larger needles, smaller needles will of course make a smaller wrap and it still will be plenty large.

This pattern includes both written and charted instructions. It will take 690 Yards of yarn to complete

This is an easy pattern for an experienced lace knitter once the first few rows are set up
