I’ve used 2 ply cotton and a 1mm crochet hook but you can use different sizes depending on what you’re most comfortable with.
Crochet cotton or wool, I used Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat 2 ply crochet cotton (115) Hot Red.
A crochet hook, I used a 1mm hook.
Scissors.
Darning needle to weave in ends.
