Needles and Tools: The pattern requires a 3.5 mm / US 4 circular needle (or the size needed to obtain proper gauge) and 9 stitch markers for construction.

Gauge: 16 stitches by 24 rows equals 10 cm / 4 inches in the textured stitch pattern after blocking. Achieving proper gauge is essential for the finished dimensions and drape of this shawl.
