Halloween dogs

This is the knitting pattern to make dogs in boots. You can make plain or dog with brown patches. You only need small amounts of DK (8-ply) yarn. Feel free to use any yarn in your stash. These dogs are knitted flat on DPNs due to their size. Leave long tails at cast-on and fasten-off for sewing.

Yarn used • 10g Rowan Pure Wool Superwash DK (8-ply), white (shade 013, Enamel) • 8g Rowan Felted Tweed DK, black (shade 170, Seafarer) • Small amounts of Rowan Fine Tweed, orange (shade 386, Tissington), purple (shade 385, Dove Dale) • Small amounts of dark brown, brown & grey DK yarn

Needles used 2.75 mm (US2) DPNs *DPNs are to make i-cords. Pattern is knitted flat. Other supplies • Stitch holder • Toy stuffing • Chenille needle or tapestry needle with fairly sharp point and a large eye
