Haifa Brioche CowlB

This is a pattern for an intricate brioche and cabled cowl. The finished cowl measures 14 1/2 inches X 64 inches (but is easily adjustable, and instructions for dong this are explained in the pattern.) The cowl can be worn long or doubed as seen in some of the pictures. It can drape over your shoulders in a way that won’t fall off. Or it can be doubled for extra warmth in the winter or early spring. However, you may have a favorite way to wear cowls that’s different from mine. The combination of the brioche stitch with the traditional cable is not seen very often, and makes a striking combination.

Brioche knitting tends to be fluffier than regular knitting, so have both a visual and tactile that is not often found in knitting.

The brioche stitches are charted only, using brioche symbols.

Skill Level: Advanced - Advanced + (if you have not worked with brioche knitting before, this is NOT the pattern for you.)

Any heavy weight fingering yarn or sport weight yarn will work for this pattern.
