I designed this vest with my son in mind who loves clothes and has a fondness for sweater vests. The all over ribbing pattern and Diamond panel detail is worked on the right side of the fabric only so the purl sides are all rest rows!
Grey Matter is worked flat in pieces. The vest features a diamond panel on the front and back that meets at one shoulder. The shoulders are shaped with short rows and are seamed with a 3 needle bind off. The neckline and sleeves are finished with a narrow band of 1x1 ribbing. Side seams are finished with mattress stitch
