Greek Key Blanket

THIS IS A LOOP YARN FINGER KNITTING PATTERN. The Sophisticated Greek Key Blanket features repeating Greek Keys, which are a famous 'meander' motif in Greek architecture and art. A meander is a repeating motif constructed from a continuous line.

The finished blanket features four of these motifs, constructed using knit, purl and horizontal chain stitches (a stitch of my own invention for loop yarn - instructions are included in the pattern - once you know how to horizontal stitch, it opens you up to a world of possible patterns and designs, including brioche-style knits!
