If you are looking to try fairisle knitting then this would be a good starting project as it is quick to make. It is also good for using up odds and ends of yarn. You need around 100m of the main colour for full gloves, and smaller amounts of the other colours.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFingerless gloves are useful for winter gardening.
