This twisty cabled hat looks very intricate, but even with all those cables there are plenty of “rest” rounds (rounds with no cables at all) making it a very enjoyable knit. A perfect holiday gift that is sure to impress. Instructions are provided in both chart and written formats.
**SIZES:**To fit size S/M, (M/L, XL) head or approximately 20 -22 (22-24, 24+)”/ 51-56, (56- 61, 61+) cm head circumference. MEASUREMENTS: 18 (19, 21)” / 46 (48, 53) cm circumference. Sample shown is size S/M. YARN: Approximately 175 (200, 225) yds of dk weight yarn.
GAUGE: 22 sts and 30 rows = 4” / 10 cm in st st. 28 sts = 4” /10 cm in cable stitch pattern. NEEDLES: US 5 (3.75mm) and 6 (4 mm) 16”/ 40.5 cm circular needle and one set of US 6 (4mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
