French Doily

This is the French Doily. A traditional crochet item with a modern twist. For a more traditional look crochet in white. This lovely doily was inspired by some crochet pieces my mother brought back from France. They were so pretty and intricate and urged me to create this doily.

It uses the basic crochet stitches such as: single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, slip stitch, and chains.

Sample was made with a lace weight yarn. Requires 125 to 150 meters (140 to 165 yards) of fingering or lace weight yarn.

It uses American crochet stitches and has written instructions. Pattern is 5 pages.
