Product Description
After Yvonne, a cuff-down lace sock design, my exploration with thicker yarn and lace pattern combinations continuous. This time I’ve used a single lace panel instead of an all-over lace pattern, which allowed me to easily write up the pattern for multiple sizes. The socks are named after the dainty lace pattern of Spanish origin used for the design, which is the most prominent feature of the pieces, beside the beautiful Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-Off. They started with Judy’s Magic Cast-On, using the Magic Loop method, but if you prefer you can easily work on double-pointed needles as well throughout the socks, by dividing the stitches over 3 or 4 needles, depending on your preference. Enjoy!
Gauge: 28 sts and 40 rnds over Stocking stitch = 10 cm / 4”; 15-st lace panel measures 6.25 cm / 2.5” wide (slightly stretched). Gauge swatch worked on size 3 mm / US 2.5 needle, in the round.
