Then for Summer, Dayflower stitch, which lends itself beautifully to the shawl design.  For Autumn it had to be a leaf design, but which one as there are so many, I went with one that's a bit like Cherry Leaf, which interlocks, then for Winter I couldn't decide between\neither icicles or fir trees, in the end I plumped for Fir Trees as Christmas trees are truly the symbol of Winter time, whether in or out of the house.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe patterns in the shawl are a mirror image rather than continuous across the shawl, which I think gives a nicer finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe instructions are both charted \u0026amp; written.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe pink shawl was knitted using 4mm needles \u0026amp; Debbie Bliss Rialto Lace.
