Product Description
About the Design: This adorable spring purse is a quick knit and crochet project! The flower embellishment and picot mesh strap are crocheted in Patons Soy Wool Stripes, a wool and bamboo blend yarn. The long color lengths within this striping yarn create a subtle movement from one color to the next. The purse body is knit in a basket weave stitch pattern in a solid color to either contrast or coordinate with one of the colors in the striped yarn.
Gauge: 19-20 sts and 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) in St st, and 18-19 sts and 32 rows = 4” over stitch pattern. To save time, take time to check gauge.
Note: MC gauge is tighter than usual, for this weight yarn, to make a sturdier purse fabric. The Peace Fleece makes a slightly larger bag.
