Fish and Boy

All parts are knitted flat and sewn up at the end. No circular knitting is required. The Double-pointed-needles are used to work stripes for the fish, and i-cords for the boy.

Yarn – DK (8-ply) Fish • [A] 10g Light Blue • [B] 5g Aqua blue • [C] a small amount of Chocolate brown • [D] A small amount of White • [E] A small amount of dark brown Boy Small amounts • [F] Green • [G] Peach • [H] Brown • [I] Red • [J] Light brown • [K] Yellow • [L] Grey

Additional materials • Toy stuffing • A twig • A small amount of light brown 4-ply

Tools • 3mm Double-pointed-needles • Chenille needle • Scissors

Tension (not essential) 24 sts x 36 rows = 10cm square

Practical tips • Leave long ends at the beginning and end for sewing. • Sew seam with RS facing, using mattress stitch. • If you are giving it to a young child, please omit the fishing rod.
