The two stitch patterns that form Fiesta! create an image of fountains of fireworks over water – to me – and a festive atmosphere.
I had a skein of Miss Babs Big Silk in Mariposa and my goal was to design a lace wrap that could be knit in one skein: I think the speckles of purple and blue in this colorway enhance the design – and by the way reminded me of blueberries that I enjoyed throughout the knit!
