Everything Zen Buddha square

my Everything Zen Buddha square design was inspired by zen gardens I've seen & by my own Buddha head sculpture in my garden. This pattern uses the overlay mosaic method & features a Buddha head on a square shape with a thin border, and would work great to use for pillows, place mats, tote bags, or in block afghans. A perfect gift for that lover of all things Zen.

• Each square uses approx. 200 yards of medium weight yarn.

Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5mm hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.

You will need 2 colors of yarn - approximately 100 yds of both colors.
