The two panels, when completed, are crocheted together to make the bag, and then a simple drop-in lining is sewn and stitched to the bag opening. I wanted the design to be relatively straight forward, so that I could enjoy the rhythm of the stitches without constantly referring to the pattern, but that also included a little challenge. The sample is worked in a dk yarn, although it would also be a good stashbusting project, suitable for an intermediate crocheter.
