DK Stay Put Kitchen Towel

There has been a lot of interest in a lighter weight version of the Stay Put Kitchen Towel, so here is the original Stay Put Towel in DK weight yarn.

Here’s a knitted towel that doesn’t need a button and won’t slip off the handle! It also has twice the drying space of the usual knitted towel.

It’s knitted with soft cotton DK weight yarn in garter stitch, has a slipped stitch edge and a keyhole placed midway through that allows one end of the towel to pull through the other for a decorative but highly functional kitchen towel.

Use neutral colors or fun, colorful strips! Knit a couple of coordinating towels for yourself, and a couple more to give!

Stitches used: Knit, Slip stitch, Cast on, Bind off, Cable Cast on (instructions are given)
