Demetra Shawl

The Demetra Shawl is a triangular shawl that is worked from the bottom up in one piece. In the beginning work on the bottom corner and start the side edges. Then work along the body and the edge all together.

Size: After blocking, approx.: 46.5” wingspan, 26” depth (118 cm wingspan, 66 cm depth). The final measurements depend on chosen yarn, needles size, your personal gauge and also the amount of times the pattern is repeated.

Materials and Tools:

Yarn: 60 g Brooklyn Tweed Vale (100% Wyoming-grown Rambouillet wool, 450 yards 410 m/50 g) in Cobbler colourway.

Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) 32” (80 cm) or 40” (100cm) circular needles;

Knitting skills: basic knitting skills, K2tog, skp.
