Daydreamer's Mandala

This easy to follow pattern (7pages) contains step by step full written instructions in English using standard crochet abbreviations and US terms. Special stitches are explained at the beginning of the pattern. I also included many pictures to illustrate the trickier parts and some less common stitches.

MATERIALS

** 9 colors of yarn. I used small Scheepjes Catona balls (25g/0.9 oz., 62,5m/68 yds.)  Yarn usage: 3,5m (3yds) of color A, 12 - 25m (13 - 27yds) of every other color

OR  ** 1 cake of Lion Brand Mandala (150g/5.3oz , 540m/590yds)  Yarn usage: 355m (388 yds) 

OR

You can use any yarn/thread you want. The possibilities are endless: you can make it with ctochet thread, for a beaufituf dreamcatcher. Or, with DK cotton, it could be a perfect potholder. Or a pillow. Or a floor pouf. Or, a flap for a crochet bag. Or even the center of a circular vest! With bulky yarn, the mandala could become the perfect rug. In short, the possibilities are just as endless as your imagination!
