Dashing - The Stocking

A fun and easy Christmas stocking pattern with a short row heel. Just like the Dashing Beanie, you can use one CC or many.

Needle: US6/4.0 mm 16 inch Circular needle. US6/4.0 mm in whatever you prefer for small circ. knitting: DPNs/2circs/magic loop • You want a firm fabric. If you knit loosely, go down a needle size.

Yarn: 200 yards of worsted weight yarn for MC. 100 yards of worsted weight yarn for CC.

Gauge: 4.5sts/inch in ribbing.

• This project can be done with DK/Sport or Fingering yarn as well for a much smaller stocking. Use the appropriate needle size for your yarn to make the fabric firm.

Materials: 200 yards of Worsted Weight yarn in MC. 100 yards of Worsted Weight yarn in CC.
