We have had worse storms, but never so much snow, day after day, combined with frigid temperatures.  And I have puffy hair, so hats are OUT for me.  So, I designed a cowl that I could fold under and have it be a nice 7 inch height, but when opened up to its 10 inch height, would cover my nose and ears and keep me warm in the woods walking my dogs.
