I found this pattern a little tricky. Maybe because the photo didn't have a close up visually of the flip top THUMB! Also l puzzled over the blunt ended ? needlesx6 requirement, which l thought I'd got by without using. However just now I've twigged that it was telling you that you needed to have a tapestry needle ( and that they were sold by you in packets of 6!?!
