Knitting is so therapeutic and relaxing.. It doesn’t matter what the weather is, super hot or freezing, I simply swap my projects to match…. Summer in Australia calls me to knit with much lighter wools or cottons, whereas winter I would knit scarves, or more chunkier beanies….
I love to knit every day, and this Chunky Cable Headband is super easy to knit up. It only takes a few hours, even for the more laid back chill out knitting session.
I have used Malabrigo Rasta, but you can substitute this for any other ‘super bulky’ wool of similar thickness.. Only half a ball is needed so you can save the other half and knit a second one...
I also have a thinner headband pattern available – but this is for those of you wanting a super quick knitting project which turns out just as spectacular.
