They start with a closed cast-on (Judy’s Magic Cast On) and are grafted together at the top once you have sewn on the eyes and beak and stuffed the owl. The beak, wings, feet and the double pom hat are knit flat, whereas the beanie and long-tailed hat are knit in the round.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThey only use a small amount of yarn, so they’re a great stash buster.
