Christmas Squares

This pattern was originally published as the Buttercup Miniatures Advent Calendar 2014. The original Advent calendar consisted of 24 squares and is suitable for BOTH miniature (1:12th scale and 1:24th scale) and human sized knitting, which can be worked on various size needles and with different thickness of yarn to suit you. There are various ways to use the designs, for example they can be stitched together to form a miniature afghan/throw, made into tree decorations (either one sided with a plain back, or made into cubes), a human sized cushion, etc. This is designed to use up scraps of yarn, so no yardages are given, as only a few metres will be required for each square. NOTE: Full written instructions are given in addition to the charts. Each square has its own page, so you can print off one square at a time if required.
