Description: A festive children’s bobble hat featuring a cheerful Christmas gnome motif and topped with a large pompom. Knitted flat on straight needles, the gnome motif is worked from a chart using intarsia, with the bobble nose knitted separately and sewn on. Designed for ages 1–11 years and made using double knitting (DK) wool.
Sizes: Includes six sizes: 1–2, 2–3, 4–5, 6–7, 8–9 and 10–11 years.
Skill Level: Intermediate. Experience working from a chart recommended.
Yarn: Double knitting wool (USA light worsted / Australian 8 ply). Shown in Stylecraft Special DK: Empire, White, Lipstick, Black and Mushroom.
Needles: 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm straight needles (USA 3 and 6) and optional small crochet hook to assist making small pompom
