Charlie Bonnet

This bonnet is knitted in one piece, from front to back, starting with back & forth knitting, then joined and worked in the round, with the back closed by switching to double point needles.

The stitch used is a "feather” style cable, which is charted, with twisted rib edging. Straps are added by picking up stitches and working an i-cord.

Sizes: Up to 1 month (0-6m, 6-12m, 1-2yrs)

Needles: 4.00mm (US 6) & 4.00mm DPNs (for crown of bonnet), plus cable needle

Yarn: DK 50g x 1 (1, 2, 2 ) balls.
