Cecilia Potholder

This fern frond patterned potholder is worked in a round and then sewn shut at the ends to create a double thick potholder. I use any 100% cotton yarn in worsted weight....but some like to make potholders from wool as well. I used a US size 7 or 4.5mm circular or DPNs...but you make size down or up to get your desired potholder size. My m

potholder measures around 7 inches square. You will need two colors of contrasting yarn. Hobby Lobby cotton yarn has 153 yards per skein. I made 3 potholders from one skein of each color.
